Is it possible to reaarange the center console . for instance if i wanted to move the ac controls right under the ac vents and move the doulble din radio down , would it work or am i dreaming.. is there enough slack in the wiring so that moving these parts is possible... any positive feedback would be great.

i dont think so, but take it apart and check it out.

 

Probably not. The wires might not reach the connectors in the new location.

 

With enough fiberglass - I don't see why not. There should be enough slack in the cables. It is not going to fit "as is" as I'm pretty sure that the center console tapers down.

 

what if i used the plastic console from a 2000 isnt it a different setup on a 2000 then a 2001. so couldnt i just swap my consple for one from a 2000.....what do u guys think....hopefully not that im crazy

 

nope. I won't fit. The shape is very different.

 

Nice idea - but since the stereo is wider than the climate control, it's not possible.
