Just when most folks are getting blasted by an artic frost, plowing through mountains of snow and freezing your collective butts off. Here in South Florida the temp is in the balmy 60's and sunny. Not too cold, not too hot, just perfect weather to cruise with the sunroof open. Yesterday, on my way to work, I opened the sunroof on my Maxima SE, popped in a good CD (I think it was ZZ Top Greatest Hits) and proceded to enjoy my drive to work. There was a nice cool breeze, the sun was shining, and the music was loud. The buttery smoothness and addicting power of the Maxima just added to the thrill of the whole experience. It's amazing how you can get that much enjoyment from a $24K car. My Maxima will be 2 years old this summer and I still get as much of a kick from driving it that I did when I got it. Needless to say I usually get to work with a big smile on my face. Do you?

About the weather thing, I know, I am cruel!

The drive to work is cold and consists of a lot of stop and go rush hour traffic on the DC beltway

Yeah... isn't it great?! When you get up to speed (non-rush hour) you can open the window and get chapped skin. Actually... in the April/May/June, we get some of the nicest weather in the US.

Over here in Boston, Mass you can't really open the sunroof until late april. If you do your head will freeze and especially at morning.

Check out the post to: mdeal & Jeff92se...
I explain their...it's only temporary however I don't recommend it if your not modded. He just wanted to test it in a max that had at least 10,000 miles I'll be switching back to the original in a few weeks. My mechanic supplied it (ECU) but he's not revealing how to get it because he works for nissan.

although i dont' have a sunroof anymore, i was able to crank the windows down and the music up on my way home from work today. the sun was out, the sky was bright blue, and the streets were crawling with cute KU girls! needless to say, all the tension from work was gone by the time i got home!

That's why we want to move to central Florida in the next few years. Tired of cold, ugly, gloomy central PA where you need an acid bath to get the road salt off of your car.
Won't know what to do with so many straight, flat roads, no pot holes and nice weather all the time. Do I sound depressed? Signed: Prozac'd in Pennsylvania
