12800 is a little high.....my dad paid 13000k for his 00 2 years ago with 65k on it....offer them 10 and see what they say.....otherwise 00 5spds are crazy nice....except.....the open differential cuases for a twitchy wheel at wot..but thats not a reason not to buy one

wow, 12,800 is pretty good...take it for a test drive at least....and bring the whole list of TSB's with you to the dealer and make them do them before you take delivery

good price, tho...

Sounds exactly like mine - 2k 5 speed tan leather loaded. I love it. Especially good, since 5-speeds are harder to come by than automagics (at least in this area)....never had any issues with twitchy wheels or anything, personally.

I think high 12's is a good price for it with that mileage, assuming it's loaded (Bose, side airbags, auto climate control, heated package, etc...).

Test drive it and get it checked out by a mechanic before you buy.

Twitchy? No. If you mean torque-steer, the 00-01 suffer from less torque-steer than the 02-03s (because of less torque...).

BTW, Limited-Slips do not prevent torque-steer... Torque steer is not caused by the differential of loads applied to each tire. But instead it is largely caused by the force applied to the contact patch of an individual tire, and the location of the contact patch (when under load) in relation to the king-pin axis.

I don't think 12,800 is too high for a car with only 53k miles, and leather. Obviously that 15k price is out of this world. Offer them $12,500 and if they say no just tell them that you'll continue to think about it and leave them your number. If they don't call you back within a day or two, go and buy it.

Or, just buy the thing at $12,800

twichy....as in WOT if the car goes on an angle the power transfers to that one wheel and the wheels want to turn that way......yes i did mean torque steer......some of this would be goten rid of with a limited slip....and yes your are right but it can also wanna go were it wants to go on flat dry ground at WOT.....but im mainly talking about 1st gear and 2nd gear a little...3rd you dont really feel it
