Just got my car back from the shop, and was wondering if the "MODE" and the air circulation buttons are supposed to light up when the headlights are on. Just got my car back and they are the only ones that don't.

the mode light does not light up for me since its not really an off and on type button since there are many different modes. however, the air circulation does light up to indicate whether its on or off. could be different for your car though.

 

If you are talking about the floor, face or windshield mode buttons, then mine light up as soon as the car turns on, lights or not.

 

I think you're a little confused. Try this: start your car up in the dark with headlights off. Its hard to see any buttons, A/C, radio etc. But when you put them on, all the buttons light up in a white color. HOWEVER, the button that says "MODE" does not light up. Neither does the button for air circulation. They both don't light up that white color that the rest of the buttons do.
