is the injen cold air intake ok to use with our crappy maf sensors, and what about the cattman intakes

I don't think there are any intakes that are better than others when it comes to our MAFs. Every intake/MAF combo has been tried with every possible result. Some people never have a problem, others blow sensors regularly. You'll get all different responses because of this.

Don't pick one based on MAF reliability, because it can go either way. Choose based on performance gains, sound, etc. You'll either blow your MAF or you won't, there isn't really anything you can do to prevent it.
