SAE certified and DOT approved PIAA H4 Bulbs 2k maxima

Hello Orger's

I want to upgrade my 2000 maxima headlight bulbs to the closes HID look bulbs, that is SAE certified and DOT approved in all 50 states. I see that the H4 Platinum Super White and star white is the rate at 60/55w = 110/100w 3800k. Is this the only bulbs PIAA make that are street legal or can I go with the H4 Xtreme white 60/55w = 135/125w 4150K and still be street legal in all 50 states???

I'm also going to get the H3 fog bulbs to match the H4 I get.

Thanks in advance for you help with this..........

No halogen headlight bulbs will look like the real HIDs.

I had PIAA Xtreme White bulbs. Never had any problem w/ cops. Never heard anyone having problem w/ cops either.

Super Plasma are not legal, rated at 5000K. But still they are not as bright as the HIDs, no problems with cops whatsoever.

They are definitely brighter than OEM. Just get a matching Fog bulbs too.

Another cheaper alternative is to buy a HID kit for few hundred $$$. They will be brighter than PIAA bulbs.

I guess it all comes down to how much money you want to spend.
