Climate Control question

My car was involved in an accident about 1 1/2 months ago. Car went in the shop and I got it about 3 weeks ago. When it came back from the shop the outside temperature part of the trip computer was not working. I haven't had time to take it there for them to fix it either.

The display simply displays ICY, since when the car was in the accident it was ICY and no temperature just "----"

Now when I turn on the climate control to lets say 70, the climate control just keeps working on full blast with all 4 fans until the car is steaming. If I don't turn it down, it won't go down.

Could it be related to the fact that the outside temperature is not working?

Possibly your problem. Did the front right of the car get messed up in the accident? That is where the outside temp sensor is located.

Take it back and tell them to fix it.
