Lowering Springs?
Lowering Springs?
I've seen a lot of chat on different lowering springs for the Max. I must admit I am leaning towards the Tein S-Techs but was hoping to get some feedback from S-Tech users. I'm looking to fit some 19's and want an aggressive drop, however ride quality is extremely important. I undersatand I have to sacrifice ride qualty when dropping a car that much, but what is the driveability with the S-Techs. I live in Toronto Canada and the roads can get rough in certain areas, and one of my biggest concerns is the 2.2 in front drop the S-Techs have. Sounds SWEET but why is tein the only company that offers this, Seems like anyone one else is a maximum 1.6 in drop all the way around. Is there something I should be weary with the S-Techs? Also does anyone know of an adjustable shock avail. yet for the 5th gen Max. If not which shock will provide me with the smoothest ride with those springs?

If exteme drop is what you want, then S-tech do reign. The more extreme drop sacrifices ride quality to some degree.
Adjustable struts for the 5th gen:
Tokico Illuminas
KYB-AGX
Koni Inserts
