Progress Springs finally installed, PICS

I finally got around to installing my Progress springs that I've had for almost 2 months. Everything went pretty smooth it took me and a buddy of mine about 5 hours or so with a break for heading to his house to use his garage. It's not too fun working outside when it's in the 20's. Anyways here are some pics.

Here is the difference in the springs. Stock springs (left and black) and the Progress springs (right and teal) which gives about 1.7" drop in the front and 1.5" in the rear.

Overall I'm really satisfied with the ride. I can't tell a lot of difference in the quaility but I can tell in the handling. The ride is still great but it handles great. I think the front could come down a little more but it might after it settles.

Wow, that's an awesome looking drop! Looks very even to me and just low enough - which is the reason I chose Progress as well - Can't wait to get my springs installed!

So you're still running on factory struts? Planning on upgrading them?

the progress spring are lovely. i have them on mine and they settle a lot as time goes on. i can fit 1 maybe 2 fingers in the rear wheel well and 2 fit good in the front. if you saw it in person or if he had a flash you would easily notive the difference

Thanks for the complimants guys. I know it's a little hard to tell a difference in the pics but believe me there is a big difference. I didn't measure what it came out to be but I might go to a buddy's house and see his height.

So you're still running on factory struts? Planning on upgrading them?
Yeah I'm running factory struts and shocks at the moment. Eventually I will upgrade them as well as the springs to get more drop but right now I'm unemployed and the cash is disappearing fast.

It takes a while for them to settle. Personally, I think they look good on 00-01's but not on 02-03s because they don't drop the front as much for some reason.

See page 2 of my homepage to see what they will look like eventually though. They'll get lower.

It took me and a buddy of mine about 5 hours. It was a little tricky but we got it. I got instructions off of the How-To's but I can't remember which one it was. We found out that a couple of the steps were backwards or one step should be before another but overall they were good and it wasn't that bad of a job, just tedious.

Damn, Then Im really gonna be in love with my Teins s-tech. Ive only had them in a little under 2 weeks.

And for the people saying the progress didnt lower the caR at all-I had them on my 5th gen and like chigga was saying its about 2 fingers in the front and a bout 1 1/2 in the rear. Looked very similar to Titaniummax03 maxima. either TravisC took the picture RIGHT AFTER the install or the car was sitting on and uneven angle or both. but dont fear its a decent drop. Better than h&r, eibavch or maxspeeds.

Actually both. That was the morning after I installed them and my driveway slops from the back to the front. I'll get some more pics tomorrow closer up to show the space between the tires and fenders.

I can see a small difference, mostly in the rear. It will get lower
further on down road. My Maxspeed drop looks pretty good.
How much where those springs?

Let the numbers do the talking:

Progress: 1.7F 1.5R
Maxspeed: 1.4F 1.3R

Also, you can't compare a pic of a drop with a 16" to a 17". Lower profile tires always magnify the appearance of wheel gap - Even when the diameter of the outside of the tires is the same.

The Progress drop is lower (just not much lower).

I have Maxspeeds and a buddy at work has Teins (s-tech). My car doesn't even look lowered next to his. I love the look of the Teins but not the ride quality, approach and departure problems, and reliablity with aftermarket struts. I love the ride on the Maxspeeds but the look just ain't there.
