I have the 18's on my 4th gen and the centercaps do not fit in the front or the back. I will try to get H and R spacers when I get the money. The are hub-centric, spacers, and they come with longer studs.

Can you do me a favor and mount the rim on the tire when you get a chance? I am looking at the same wheels in 19" and want to see if the larger wheel still has problems with the center cap fitment. I know it is a pain, but I don't know anyone else that has the Evo/lightning in 19".

Awesome choice in rims.

I hope not. Anyone else notice they have the same name? HP EVO and MM EVO?

edit: Yes, I'm aware that the HP EVO has been renamed as HP New Lightning.

Guys Guys Guys...that is awesome how the feedback is so positive. Those wheels are really beautiful. The deal is still going on, I'm still accepting deposits. So definately be a part of this, and remember I'll send the spacers free of charge. I'm feeling like a good samaritan right now...so spanishrice and BLKMAX005SPD email me, I'll give you a deal on the 1/4" spacers. $30 for 4 (reg $45/4) You have to get those center caps on. You can paypal me at bighman@shaw.ca

K Pazzo your spacers are on the way.

Are you sure things will fit with no rubbing? The wheels are 19x8.5 with a +38 offset. Won't the spacer make it a +28? Couldn't that cause rubbing?

I was thinking of Maxspeeds, but then there is a gap between the d and the s, so it can't be Maxspeeds.....

Yeah take NT2SHBBY's advice and go with 245-40's. I've gone this route as well. And it only increases overall diameter by 3.3%

We have our MOTM for March!

I never imagined that rims & a drop would make that big a difference on the car; the factory 16"s looked out of place on that car. I love the color combo and the smoked headlights are a great touch. Very nice!
