Interesting. The article refers to the fuel-cut (throttle) condition but states it wasn't apparent in their test vehicle. Of course Motor Trend said the same thing and they received such a furious backlash from their readers that they forwarded all of the complaints to Nissan USA. Nissan USA's reaction can be found by doing a search under "fuel-cut" or "throttle" in the 5th Gen Forum. But to make a long story short, Nissan USA is holding Nissan Japan's feet to the fire to come up with a fix for 2K 5-speed Maximas.

Edmund's does a good job with there reviews. I'm still waiting for car and drivers review.
