TSB - Who Paid (Poll)

It appears that some folks are getting TSB's done at no cost, and others are having to pay. If you've had a TSB performed, please indicate whether or not you paid, and if your car was still within warranty when the work was done.

I've had both. The only TSB paid for was the ECU reprogram.

I've had the clutch noise, CD problems (on 3rd), sun roof reflector done. I had the MAF/ECU one done also but they were doing this the same time to fix a SES light/stall thrown by the accelerator pedal failure (not the recall because it gets stuck but rather that the drive-by-wire sensor failed). Dealership has been very good, never once did they even ask for me to pay. Not thrilled about having so many issues but glad to hear that they are being resolved with little effort.

I got the slipping transmission tsb done. Had to convince the dealer, but not too much hassle. They did both the TCM and the solenoid. they couldn't duplicate the wind noise tsb. I'll do it myself.

It all dpends on the dealer (basically how cool are you with them) and what is actually wrong. If its a wind noise TSB, they will prob chg you. If its something like bad O2 sensors or Lack of power, they will likely foot the bill. Again, it all depends....

Had brake judder and fogged up headlights tsb's taken care of free of charge. Had transverse links recall and engine crank/cam sensor recalls done free of charge. All four of these things, plus 4whl alignment, trans and atf flush done in one day.
