Hello,

I received my new 2001 GLE 2 weeks ago, and have noticed a glitch. I suspect it is unique to my car, but wanted to poll the group to see if anybody else has had this problem.

When I accelerate with the O/D OFF, from about 80km/hour to 100km/hour, the engine seems to bog down. As the rpm approaches 3500, the engine quickly slows to 3300 and then continues back up.

It does not do this unless that car has been running for at least 10 minutes, and does not do it with the O/D ON (or at any other RPM range).

I have not taken it to the dealer yet, will try next week.

Any ideas / possible causes?
