brakes....what to do!

I need brakes like yesturday!!! I want to get all new rotors, pads, s.s. lines and fluid. I have been searching on the org. and other places and I'm getting fustrated. I like the brembo crossdrilled rotors, however, I can't find them for my year 02 (fronts). What do you guys think about what is out there. Brembos, Stillen, Powerslot, ect. I also want the silver colored ones, I can't remember if that was zinc coated or something else. Any info on where I can find this stuff would be great.

P.S. I've already looked at eatrice.com, which BTW is the closest to what I'm looking for except I would prefer Brembos. I am also not interested in Big Brake Systems due to the fact they are way too much money.

I bought these rotors for my maxima from Maxed Up. They are made by AutoSpecialty and custom cross drilled and slotted to one of many choices of patterns. They are also zinc coated to prevent rust.

For pads, I am going to go with Stillen Metal Masters. For lines, I think I am going with Goodrich.

Ther are some pics of the rotors.

The only direct fit front rotors are Powerslot and Stillen from major manufacturers. Hawk and Axxis Metal Masters are good pads.

Thanks maximamaybe. I remember seeing that thread somewhere a while back. Do you happen to know it. I'd like to read up on it again. Also, are those dirrect fit for the 02's. I'm assuming he used Brembo blanks and had them drilled/slotted.

Just found thread for this. Now just waiting to see if I can get hooked up. Now that you actually have them, how is the quality of them? Are they true Brembos?

At one point, he had actual Brembo blanks. He was sold out of them and everyone was on backorder. Therefore, I decided to go with AutoSpecialty. The quality looks good. I am just waiting now for the rest of the parts to get them installed.

Do NOT get cross drilled rotors!!!! Its been stated numerous times that cross drilled rotors SUCK!! They tend to crack and warp right around the holes, since the drilling weakens the structural integrity of the rotor. Go with something SLOTTED,like powerslots. Ive had powerslots & HAWK HP's since April and I love em. Relatively cheap, around $300-400 for rotors & pads.
As far as where to get em try these sites,... custommaxima.com,... southwestautoworks.com ,groupbuycenter.com , & thetirerack.com

He absolutely definately DID NOT have BREMBO rotors of any sort that were direct fit for the 2k2/2k3's. Brembo has not come out with them yet. Go to their site and look at their catalog on page 88 you will see NYA. Not Yet Available.

I have crossed drilled...and i have no problem...i think its all about how you break them in...i waited atleast 1000 miles before i really got hard on them.

Prodigy- Maxed Up is a good guy...i bought my rims off of him...as soon as you send him the money your products in the mail that day!

Too long for me to wait. Gonna have to go w/ something else. I might be leaning towards the Powerslot Rotors. Everywhere I read about them, they get good reviews.

Anyone know if SWAW has these. I checked there site but all they have is the Stillen rotors.

Those of you that already have the powerslot rotors, do you know if the Pro Stop II rotor is available for our cars?
