i was hooking up some subs in my car and like an idiot i didn't use a Bose line output convertor. i tried wiring the regular Output convertor to the stock amp and i blew the amp. i took it apart and the speaker is fine but the amp smells totally burnt(yes, smells), as does my whole trunk. is it possible to get just the rear speaker assembly without the speaker itself. i emailed bose but haven't gotten a response yet and my nissan place says they can only get me the whole assembly, speaker included, for $500! bunch of thieves. can anyone lend me a few words of advice?
