Aftermarket sunroof

Greetings All Enthusiasts!

Has anyone out there installed an aftermarket sliding power sunroof on a 5th generation Maxima and any advice of doing it/not doing, product brands, etc.

Thanks for your help!
Mike

If your looking in the long run a sunroof wont add 1000+ to the value of your car, i think it only adds 400, but if you like the sun that much and like having one go for it.

Wonder how an aftermarket install works? I.E. I know if you get a power sunroof as a factory option the whole interior roof panel is lower. With an aftermarket will they actually lower the whole roof panel with some kind of panel?

I had one in my 92 Maxima bout 6 years ago...I paid $400 with lifetime warranty. sunroof worked great but the trim around it rattled due to the drop...

If you dont have one and want one-definitely the way to go

i was told at the dealership that ALL 5th gens are manufactured in japan WITH NO SUNROOF...shipped to the states where Nissan pays local sunroof installers to do it the same way. They say as an option if you bought the car it'd be 700+ but if you wanted to do it after the purchase, it'd be like 1000+. I wanted it so bad cuz I was always used to having one in the old TL, but that's the sacrifice i made for 3.5L. can't waste my money on a sunroof either, i'd rather have hs headers
