How-To: Sidemarker ReWire

On the wiring for the side markers, cut the black wire in half. Take the end of tthe black wire that goes somewhere in the car, and tape it off - so that it doesn't touch anything (ground out). Connect the other side of the black wire that you cut with some wire of your own - no more than 3 feet in length. Run this wire up the inside of the fender to the headlight. Locate the two wires at the blinker in the headlight. Wire tap your wire that you ran into the (don't quote me on the color), but i believe it was a green striped wire - i'll double check for you tonight if i have time - but whatever wire is the negative terminal (the one that completes the circuit) at the blinker - is the wire that you want to use - but this is basically all that you have to do to get them to blink.

Note:
With the headlights off - the corners blink with the headlight blinker.

With the headlights on - the corners blink alternately with the headlight blinkers.

Just FYI

how to is here:

http://www.max-world.org/frames/howtodo.html

look under "lighting" then "rewiring your front and rear...."

PLEASE NOTE:
there is an error in this how-to! DO NOT use the BLACK wire for the REAR! use the green wire instead!QUOTE]
