The back of your car looks cleaner and neater without the badges. I debadged mine and it was relatively easy. All you need is some dental floss, a credit card, and some WD-40 or nail polish remover.

The credit card is for getting the excess adhesive off once you've taken the emblems off with the dental floss.

I have a 2k2 bought in May 2k2....is it too late to debadge? Will there be outlines of the badges? (it's glacier pearl).

There shouldn't be if you do it right. I have a 2000 and I didn't debadge until Summer of 2003, and there are no outlines whatsoever. You just gotta use the WD-40 liberally to make sure you get all of it off.

if it wasnt for the glaring lock, I'd say debadge but it looks awkward with nothing but the keyhole

I dunno i think on a black car it would look better, but on a white car i like the badges. I think it looks too plain without them.

If you want to smoke the tails paint in from the outside. BTW also take out the Nissan emblem.

yeah, the keyhole shaved looks good guys.
2k3TitaniumSe, I cant debadge the nissan logo cause it has holes underneath, I dont really want to pay for body work and stuff,
and it actually doesnt bother me that much

ill prob do it later on this week, when it gets a bit warmer, although I dont know exactly how ill do it. ive read a lot of ways, still unsure on the best. im thinking, heat it up with a blow dryer, use dental floss of fishing string to get it off, then spray on some wd-40 I guess, some said worked great, hopefully they'll come off, then whip out the goo gone, and wax, i am a bit nervous about spots being left, but i havnt heard that happening to many people, everyone seems to get everything off

When I took off my emblems I used a hair dryer to heat them up, them used fishing line to "saw" behind em, I also used some bug n tar remover to loosen the adhesive. Once you pull em off there will still be adhesive left over, I just drenched it in bug n tar, and used heat and picked at it little by little until it was all gone, then I threw on a coat of wax and I was done with no marks or spots. Good luck!
