SSR - Any chance this will be available as a "TUNER" kit withOUT fuel management and/or turbos? Can you give a breakdown of parts included?

Also, if it fits the VQ35, it will fit the VQ30.

Also, that IC looks a bit small for my liking. Any chance people can "upgrade" parts like the IC, turbo, etc..

The wastegate is open atmosphere?

SSR!

Would the exhaust pipes that are running RIGHT near the tranny create heat issues for it???

SSR,
Can we pleeaase get a breakdown of what parts you are using? What are you doing for fuel management, injectors, what turbo, will there be a few options for the turbo, can we buy parts individually, etc etc...?

I want to introduce myself to the Maxima community, I’m the lucky owner of this piece of art, and my plans are to break the 500s with some internal work done.

I didn't loose any ground clearance, the pic is taken from an angle that makes the pipe look lower.

The IC is good for up to 450 whp, but an upgrade will be nice.
Yes, the wastegate is open atmosphere

Dyno #s should be out tomorrow

Yes, it was.
It took over 5 months.
I don't have the car yet, they are tuning it tomorrow and once they tune it and get dyno #s (in the afternoon) I'll be able to pick my baby up.

I'm not sure, but I think, with this kit, it's to much power for an auto. They may come up with something for the automatics. That's just my two cents.

You will have to upgrade the automatic transmission jees. The automatic can only hold so much power, why buy a turbo kit with less power that cost the same amount of money just to save the tranny. This kit cost 5 times more than a tranny.

We will have stages which might fall under the $5000 category, but the complete kit, fuel, fuel return, scavenge pump, intercooled etc etc etc. will run around $6500

Twin stainless 304 Manifolds, (custom flanges)
Twin stainless 304 collector pipes
46mm Tial Wastegate with Dump tube
440CC Bosch Injectors
Custom Fuel return (as pictured)
TO4E Turbo
2.5'' Aluminum intercooler piping
Spearco intercooler
Evo Motorsports BOV
Split second Piggy back
3'' Downpipe w/flex
oil scavange pump
oil lines
fuel lines
sx fuel pressure regulator

(There is so much small stuff in this kit, i'll write a finalized list of everything so I can show all of you how many parts and pieces went into this kit!)

we might have different set-ups available like a non intercooled version, etc.

Our kits aren't ever going to be cheap mostly because we don't use cheap parts, so for the price you are definitely getting the best quality. We could surely knock the price down by using cheap parts, but then we wouldn't give you the best quality

is that $6500 for the kit...

and I'd have to find someone to install it...right?

thanks

Thanks! That sounds awsome. And yes it should probably fit on a VQ30DE. It turns out that 2k headers will fit on a 2k2. There were slight clearance issues i believe but nothing unfixable. SR20DEN has the cattman VQ30DE headers on his 2k2. So you should test the fitment on a VQ30!!!

yep, since a vq30de header will bolt on the vq35de with minor modification according to cattman.... this turbo kit could be modified to fit the vq30de without too much trouble

its heating up in here ...So the split second box is the form of timing control unit like on the vortech kits for the 350Z?

As long as the pricing doesn't exceed the greddy TT kit I believe its a fairly priced kit.

No there is no Timing control, I would just suggest something like a re-mapped ECU. We can contact Technosquare and have them make a boosted program for the car.

Or better suggestion would be to get a J&S UltraSafeGaurd.

Yep, only the transmission and other differences could cause complications.

A 4th gen vs. 5th gen PFI kit only required minor hacking of the IC discharge to throttle body tube, since clearly they're located slightly different. Since, SR20DEN slapped on a 95-2001 header on his 2K2, that's not an issue, but again the IC to TB tube will require tweaking.

I don't mean 100% bolt-on fit, but with some minor fitment tweaking it *SHOULD* fit.

However, not in the basic kit.

You got to keep the INITIAL cost up front down as low as possible(with quality parts of course), so people will be able to afford the lump sum and then slowly upgrade as they turn up the wick.
