throttle position sensor help

throttle position sensor help

i took my car to the dealership because at a stop my rpms would drop to 0 and the car would stall they told me it was my throttle positon sensor. Do any of you know where this is located on my car and is this something difficult to change out . i have a 2000 maxima se. Help please this stalling crap is irritating

It should be located on your throttle shaft. There is normally a pair of cables from the gas pedal on one side, and the TPS on the other side. It should have a connected with about 3 wires plugged into it. I would get a second opinion before replacing it.

what else could actually make my car stall like this im driving it now and when i come to a stop it will idle for about 30 second at about 1000 rpms then drop to 400 then off instantly everytime.
