cali emission y-pipes

i recently discovered that my 2000 maxima is a @#@# CA emission vehicle while looking to bye a y-pipe. i don't even live anywhere near CA, but i was wondering if anyone had a y-pipe on a CA maxima. If so which one is preferred?I'm looking at the cattman or warpspeed as of right now.

just be sure to get a y-pipe that is cali spec. that's all. i don't have any opinions on what is best. i haven't had the chance to put my cattman on yet. i'll be sure to post when i do though.

here you go, this was on page 3
https://maxima.org/forums/general-maxima-discussion/287841-license-plate-holder.html
no diffirence between fed and cali as far as what brand to get.
warpspeed will have same performance if you are fed or cali.
cattman will have same performance if you are fed or cali.
so just decide which ypipe is better period.

The 4 sensors are what peaked my curiousity. Then while my friend and i were at a muffler shop getting some work done on his car i had them lift the car. The cat that comes off the manifold in the front of the car bolts to the y-pipe with a different flange. A normal fed spec flange looks like a triangle, shown on most y-pipe pictures. The one on the cali is a lot different.

the cali spec has an extra O2 sensor or two right? and so the extra electric connections you can see in front of the engine

if they have them then they are "cali spec"
point being - if you have the extra sensors you will need the cali spec y-pipe

in the us, all cali spec maximas have 4 02 sensors. i have never heard of or seen a fed spec maxima with 4 02 sensors.

I've decided to go with a warpspeed y-pipe. I'm curious as to what type of power gains i can expect opposed to a fed spec max with a y pipe.

i also read that if the 12th character in the number below ur VIN is either a C or a V, it's a cali...
u can find this number and the VIN on that small square metal plate on ur engine bay wall
