newbie here

<---

whats up guys, im just starting with this forum. i had a gsr coupe for over three years and now im in the market for a 5th gen maxima 5 speed. looking to get onw from an auction after an accident. hoping to spend no more than 8500. there is a 2000 for sale that was hit in the back but its an auto, for 7500 complete and finished but i want the 5 speed.
is there anything i should look for when buying a maxima or just anything overall about maximas? ive been browsing the website and there is a lot of good info.
see you all later...

just wondering, what makes you want a Maxima coming out of a GSR? I have actually been looking into GSR's.

Good Luck finding a 5spd Maxima

just searched autotrader in the philly area, here is the cheapest Manual Maxima (2000+) i could find: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...or=&cardist=17
you can probably haggle the price down a bit.

here's another with much less miles than above: http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...or=&cardist=31

dont get me wrong, i loved my integra but im just looking into something different and maximas have always been good cars. that and its a lot more comfortable than an integra and roomier. i am 6'4'', how i ever fit in a gsr is beyond me. also maximas are one of the few great sedans that are somewhat commonly offered with a manual transmission...

thanks for the searches but i have a buddy that buys cars at an auction and sells them for pretty cheap after fixing them (r-title) im gonna be able to see the car before the repairs so i am going to know what i have on my hands without going into it blind. hopefully i can get one for $8k
we'll see, ill updae when (or if) i do get one.
