I noticed these H-tech teins for sale..

are they supposed to sit a little higher than the S-tech Teins?

How is the ride quality?

I know a few ppl have them. I saw pics somewhere but cant seem to find them now. Somebody will post them. H techs will ride and perform better because they dont slam the car to the ground.

Someone had a thread posted earlier this week, I don't really recall the username but if you scrollback a few pages you should see it -- he just had the H.Techs installed and had quite a few before and after pics on his cardomain page if you're interested.

i dont have any pics at the moment, but i just installed my H-techs yesterday and do have a few words. i cant afford aftermarket struts at the moment, but i do plan to buy them in the future. The ride feels like stock to me. i havent gotten a chance to test out my springs.

to those who want to know if these actually drop the car... i believe they do. as the driver, you will definately feel a drop from stock and it minimized the horrible fender gap.

also, i believe you can maybe still get them for $172 shipped from SWA. i received my order in 3 days.

thanks for the feedback guys..

I found them on SWA but i couldn't understand the advertised 1.6" front drop and 1.0 rear?

seems like a huge difference, i don't want the nose to be dipped into the ground, but from that pic, it seems pretty even.

I'm curious of the ride quality too.

i think its a good 4-5 inches off the ground, a very rough estimate, so you dont have to worry about the nose being dipped into the ground. i think these springs make the car very even all around.

what seems like a huge difference??

again, ride quality is just like stock, but you can still feel that you are on a lowered car. its a bit floaty at times and can be a bit harsh going over speed bumps.

That car belongs to me. I've got the H-Tech's w/Tociko Illuminas installed recently. In person the car does drop lower than the rear. I'm still playing with the settings so I'll give you guys a review later in the week of this combo setup w/better pics. But I will tell you for now that there is for sure a night and day diff. from stock!

I've had them on for about 5 days now...still playing with the settings and love the new setup. I'll get more pics later this week. As far as being the ride to be soft...nope...not with my setup at least.
