Has anyone blown their maf sensor..or had problems with theirs..what happened before it went bad....what were the symptons...?

 

I haven't, but I've been on the org awhile now. No warning whatsoever. It just goes.

 

I've blown 5- on my 6th one now... I have one spare one in the glove box, and 2 more in my room here When they go, U can't go past 2400RPM- max speed is 60MPH on a 5spd car- don't care bout automatics... U can't also go more than 15% throttle or the engine cuts out also. Sometimes when they go, car won't run at all.... then unplug it and drive it in limp mode- meaning no more than 15% throttle or 2400RPMs.

 

NO one is saying if a 2003 has blown their MAF's too I haven't seen no one with a 03 complain yet

 

Isn't there one part number MAF sensor that has proven never to have a failure? Apparently if you get that one you're good to go.

 

well my car has been hesitating and jolting at around 50 and 60mph.. i have changed all 6 coil packs...and i have been told by my mechanic that this is a common problems.. ne one have any ideas...

 

A Maxima with a blown MAF?!?!
