How much would it cost for window tinting on my 00 max. Not talking the sprayed on method, but rather the other cheapier method.

 

are you planning on tinting the windows yourself? i had mine professionally done (27% all around except front windshield) for a total of $150. they used Llumar and did a really good job

 

got mine done for 200 where the took off the door panel and tinted the rear window in one piece.

A professional tint job ranges from $150-250 depending on where you live. Most places will give you a lifetime warranty from fading or peeling as long as you own the car.

 

use 100% metallic paper, no dye in those paper and won't fade at all.

 

Make sure they do the rear window in one piece, preferably with Llumar tint, and dont pay over 200. You should be able to find a good place for 175.

 

Seems like it differs from where you live.


in New York, it's at least $150 for a decent job.. good job is 200-$300..
I heard that down south, tint is a lot cheaper..



you pay for good quality tint, good quality job and lifetime warranty.



But, the best idea is to go to your regional forum and ask there where people got their cars tinted..

I paid $107 including tax for llumar 20% , back window one peace. they did a great job the place has been there 15 years. perfection window tinting in Miami

I'm in SC and it cost $130 for all windows @ 20% tint. I also have a lifetime warranty. depends on the area, but down south it is a lot cheaper.

 

The Price also depends on the time of year. In the summer, tint shops will raise their prices a lot because of the demand.

You should go get tinted up soon, before the prices go up for summer.

 

$200 For 20% all the way around except windshield, the shop I had it done at uses a method where the glass is removed from the vehicle, film is applied and then it is baked on, there are no bubbles or imperfections anywhere in the tint, plus the warranty that comes with it is full replacement on my request if i find the slightest defect in the tint, the warranty states that if i scratch the tint the shop will replace it for free.
