Something I was thinking about

Is it possible to install a 5.5 Gen 6spd center console on a 5.5 gen auto? I was wondering how it would look with the shift boot. Before anyone asks, I am not trying to look like a ricer going for the fake 6spd look. I was just wondering because the console always seems to get dirt in the gated opening.

Get in touch with www.redlinegoods.com, maybe they can make something custom for the opening on the auto. At very least you can get the new ebrake boot they just started making for the 5th gen....just installed my boots (5-speed though not auto) and they fit perfect. I'm sure they could figure something out for you....

The problem with the 5.5 gen is the gated shifter. I don't think you could fit a boot that will look good through the gates.

I have wanted this for a long time.. it looks bad as$. I don't care if it covers up the PRND321, I just want one like the 6-speeds have. If anyone has any info, please let us know.
