K&N

I have had the berk intake for 35K. Last weekend i recharged the K&N. I have gained 25 miles to the tank. I read the instructions and it suggests to clean the filter more if a lot of highway driving is done, which i do. I oiled it carefully,,took my time. Folks here suggested the oil may screw the MAF. I did not have any problems....

no...i folks here (AND K&N themselves) say the oil will ONLY screw the MAF if overused.

it's not just the oil itself - in fact, K&Ns require oil to function properly. you just can't use TOO MUCH or it WILL screw your MAF.

the recharge kit explains proper oil amounts in it's instructions.
