How much of a pain is it to put 02 headlights in an 01??

Hey has any one put the 02-03 hids in an 00-01...just wondering how much of a pain it is and what is needed to be done ,,,like wiring wise thanks...any help would be great...

it's not that hard. You need harness, headlight mounting clips, and wire connectors.

Here's the harness

You will also need 2 mounting clips for 2k2-2k3 HID headlights because they are different for 2k-2k1 headlights.

This thread should be removed. Let's just tell all the people who buy stolen headlights how to wire them up. We all know that the biggest buyers for stolen '02 lights are '00 and '01 owners. And Tim, I am not suggesting you stole yours or bought them stolen, I just don't want us to make things easy for those who did.

Chill out dude. As long as they provide me w/ proof of purchase (dealership), I will be more than happy to help them out w/ wiring.

So how are you going to see a proof of purchase from everybody who looks at this thread? The point is, ANYBODY can see this thread, and Maxima.org should not be publishing material that will help criminals who victimize its own members.

Stupid!!

Askin for help to wire up 2k2 lights is pointless in this forum, all these dudes scared cause of the thefts, thank god I printed up my instructions way back when.

Did I say I was posting instruction here? If they can provide me w/ proof of purchase, I have no problem sending them the write up through email.

Alls i wanted was to buy some headlights to make my car look better...i live in a liitle rich town in mass where the most theif there could be is to steal a cow.....im not looking for stolen ones....some people are selling theres cause they dont want them stolen from there car and to get it damaged thats why i offered to sell mine too....i would be nice to see a proof of sale but most people dont have that...but also i wouldnt buy any lights that have any cracks or marks cause thats a tell tale sign of stolen....i just asked the wiring cause i know 2k1 and 2k2 are different thats all... Thanks for you guys that helped i guess ill look somewhere else.
