I had someone steal my lights back in September, so I got Xenon and Halogen Replacements. The halogens have been in there ever since waiting for the time when the theft had come down. I was thinking about reinstalling the Xenons and having the recall done. My question to all of you is in the past 2-3 months since the recall, is theft up or down? Have people still stolen them with the recall? Thanx

Some have had only one light stolen (presumably the theif gave up or ran out of time) others have had their car torn up with no lights stolen. Nonetheless, it's likely not "safe" yet. The thieves are slow learners.

 

I had my lights stolen in December. Got recall done and alarm with headlight sensors installed so I could sleep at night. So far so good. I would wait a little while though, give it a few more months, but i would say Max HID theft has definitly decreased but not gone yet.
