INSIDE of doors getting WET

it was raining/snowing in nj today while i worked on my audio installation

the door panels were off, all that was there was the plastic sheet.
then i heard a dripping sound....pretty loud, and got very annoying, i looked over to my left, and i saw drops of water BEHIND the palstic, inside the door...i have no idea how it got there. i guess it leaked thru from the outside between the window and the black strip??? it is also happening on my passenger side rear door

has anyone had this problem? i know if i had the door panels on, i wouldn't have noticed this, but this definitely isn't a good thing.

That's why I had to move my X-overs for my seperates. They were getting soaked.

Actually thats common with most cars, hence the reason for the plastic. I work in the install bay also, thats why most x-overs are inside the car rather than in the door.

where do you expect the water that rolls down the window glass to go?
