Springs & Shocks ....recommdations please

Looking to replace the springs and shocks on a 01 SE. The Stillen rear sway bar helped a lot. Now.....Would like to lower the car and provide more ride control with minimul ride quality sacrifice. (This is my wife's car so please don't recommend rice-boy race suspension.)

There are just too many lowering springs to choose from and I have no idea what the differences (spring rates etc.) are between them:

Eibach
Dropzone
Tein
Maxspeed
Springtech
H&R
Vogtland

On the shocks I THINK I'd like to get adjustables so can tune the ride quality somewhat.

Considering:

Tokico Illumina
KYB AGX (still looking to find some for an 01)

Any comparisons, suggestions or recommendations for springs and/or shocks would be GREATLY appreciated!

TIA
Ron

I say Maxspeed and Tokico Illuminas. Then again, I am biased.

want a soft ride get H&R, Maxspeed, and Tein type H. ( not sure about progressive, some say they give a soft ride) and get the Tokico Illuminas strut.

BTW all thoose springs I mentioned don't drop the car much except progess.

H&R and tokico Illuminas I was riding on factory shocks for a year and a half and just switched to the tokicos and trust me it is very much like stock just a tad bit harsher over road imperfections. If you want to lower the car and maintain the stock like ride with better handling go for the H&R springs and tokico.

H&R and Illuminas are generally considered to provide the best ride quality. If you'd like a more noticable drop, I have Progress & Illuminas and the ride also rivals stock on 2F/3R on all but the roughest roads. I suspect the only difference you'd feel between H&R and Progress would be on deep potholes when suspension travel is a factor.
