what % are these 2 front windows..2 rear windows and rear.
i'm thinking about tinting very very soon.
i like it , i live in cali so its really sunny 11 months out of the year so i think i want alitttle more % than that. Looks good though. What exactly is the color of your car.. it looks matte black for some reason.

It is actually a speckle dark gray.
Kind of meshed with flecks of metal.
Must not be coming out right in the picture.
I think the tinting came out to be about 33% - 35%, same on all windows. Sadly that is all im going to get legally where i live. They are pretty strict around here. It is a bit reflective which is good for keeping out heat.
Thanks for checking it out!

Im not sure how right this site is .... http://www.tintdude.com/atoh.html#California
But it says (Cali):
Front doors.....70%(clear)
Rear doors...........Any
Back window..............Any
Looks like you can't really have much if anything on the front windows, but back can get pretty dark.
Peace.

I know our stock maxima's have alittle light tint around our car. Is that a tint in the window or an extra film. Does the tinting place need to remove it or can you just leave it in.(most likely leave it in on I think, because i heard you can have tint on tint) Cause its like 50 bucks extra or something to remove previous tints.

If you've seen 70% at a shop or something...it looks completely CLEAR. If you asked a shop here to give you 70% they'll just look at you and laugh. 35%/medium is like the minimum darkness for my preference...I have 13% all around and no hassles. Black windows make my max look 100000x better. I was too scared to go 5% all around

Im not sure if the stock window tint is film or not. i just know if the shop wants to do it legal, then they use a lighter tint to make up for it. They try to get you as close to legal as possible. ie. 33% instead of the 32% legal. But it doesn't look like they cared about my visor tint on the rear window because it is pretty dark now.
