Brake Problem

I have the Brembo rotors with the Axxis Metal Matrix pads. I have them on for 29k miles. They preformed great but squeaked a lot. I think I reallly need to replace them ASAP because when I depress the brake pedal normally, it grinds. When I press it lightly, its still ok. Now I really hope I didnt just finish them and whenever I press the brake pedal, the calipers are just braking with no pad in the middle, because that fck up the rotor and I'll probably have to get a new one.

So, you guys think I'll be fine just getting the OEM ones since I dont have time to wait for them to get here and all, would they really preform crappy compared to the Axxis?
