Tranny service results
#1
Well, I just got the Max back from the dealer. They replaced the shift solenoids but not the TCM. I had the newer 101 model TCM, so that should be fine. The shifting has definitely gotten better. The shifts are nice and firm while still smooth. The tranny seems to hold in gear before shifting a bit longer also. I only went WOT once from a stop. But, there was no slow shifting or mushiness. All in all, a definite improvement. My experience may be a bit jaded since I was driving a POS saturn for the last three days, but it shouldn't be way off If you still need the TSB, try the link below:

There have been so many posts about this stuff...can you tell me if you had the other TSB applied to your car before having this done?
If so, I'm going to pursue it with my dealership, but I want to be prepared before showing up and running my mouth.
