How long for auto lock?

I looked in the owners manual and couldn't find the answer so here goes. On the 03 Maximas, how long does it take for the car to lock itself if you don't lock it.

Thanks

I'm not sure that you'll find that info. My 02 has auto relock. If you use the remote to unlock the door(s) and do not open any door, the car will relock in 5 minutes or so. I have not been able to find any info regarding this feature. I thought that my car was acting up and locking itself at one time. I took it to the dealer several times only to find out that it was a feature that was not even known to the technicians at the dealership because there had not been any literature published on it.

i would guess then that if you forget to lock the car and the keys aren't in the ignition, it will relock itself in 5 mins.

I think only in the example that charliekilo3 gave (you used the remote to unlock but never opened a door) would that be true. You can definitely walk away from the car without locking it and it won't lock itself, I do it every night in my garage.
