Sometimes when I play certain CDs and when I listen to certain songs on certain radio stations I get a static like sound coming out of my tweeters. First I thought it was the result of poor reception, but after I started hearing it when playing CDs I got suspicious. Are they blown, or what? Can the dealer fix it for cheap/free, with a warranty?

i had 2 of my speakers replaced under warranty because they were blown (Bose System)

 

Im not sure why theyre doing this, but the stock tweeters suck anyway. You can pry the covers off with a screwdriver (carefully) and you'd probably be better off getting a new set yourself

 

not sure if same thing but....i experienced phasing
in and out of left tweet but went away when i replaced HU to aftermarket-
I first thought it was the speakers so i replaced them with aftermarket components/amp but it continued to do so....which leaves me to believe the HU's suck monkey ballz
