2003 auto trans question

For those of you with an auto trans in your 2003, when you have it floored and 1st gear red lines & the trans shifts into 2nd, what do your rpms drop to when 2nd engages?

Mine drops to 4000 RPM and I thought that was a little low on the torque curve. Just wondering if that’s what others experience and if not, is there a practical way to adjust the trans?

I’ve read the threads on the slipping trans TSB and I don’t feel that mine is doing that just that the full power-on drop from 1st to 2nd is rather large.

Thanks for any advice.

Peabody.
