where can i get these cheapest? i'm thinking about trying the catz zeta hid system (the one that uses regular bulbs and just ups their voltage output)...i was thinking of these bulbs since they are really the closest to hid and this system will make them quite a bit brighter to actually look like hid (keeping high beams spending under $1k)...so where can i find these cheapest and...

will the catz zeta non-real hid system melt my housing? i don't think it will do anything to the wiring, but can our housings take it? i'm still debating whether or not to try it

yeah he said he didn't think they would but he has a 4th gen and i'm pretty sure housings on 4th gens are different...i remember someone w/ a 4th gen making ae headlight housings by putting them in an oven and people on here said not to do that becasue ours would melt

My friend has on his civic..he used 80w lightbulbs and it burned the zeta system or fried it.....get the real HID, since they are fairly cheap now...

umm...the real hid for $450 is single filament...dual filament real hid systems are well over $1k

Reason being is it increases the voltage not wattage. Increased wattage does heat lights up but I don't believe voltage does.

but isnt wattage a product of voltage and amperage though?? Correct me if im wrong, i very well may be....

U dont' need high beam..unless u live in the middle of nowhere...i have only used high beam twice since i bought the car..one time was to tell the damn del sol to race , the other time was when trying through mountain roads...

i live in arizona where most people are idiots and they leave their brights on all the time...i use my brights to get back at the idiots who leave them on all of the time and in arizona we do have lots of unlit roads and driving at night can be fairly difficult
