Installed Narva Golds, Fog lights....PICS inside

I replace the foglights with Narva Golds 85w....Hopefully they don't fry my wiring...but if they do I will just get some new ones. ...Overall I am pleased with the look, they are damn close to the lexus look, also the pictures are kinda crappy because my focus was messed up, but you get the picture...also they are not as red as the pics make them look.

Man, those show up really yellow on the road. Why would 85 watts fry your wiring? That's stock wattage, right?

now that my pathetic modem can download the re-sized pics....looks good, I like the yellow. Wish I could get these in a 55-65W range, 85W kind of scares me, don't want to fry the harness....

they won't fry
only reason i took mine out is cause the fogs cracked..........again.
i'm droppin stock fogs alltogether and gettin tru aftermarket fogs. considering piaa's or others of the sort.

Looks good, but I would be concerned since so many people think some fogs are cracking from the heat of the bulbs...I would think running 85w would only make that happen more easily...

i broke 2 pair on stock bulbs, 1 on piaa's, 1 on narva's.....based on my record, and from what i've noticed throughout the forum, it's just mere coincedence, but i've seen MANY stock 5th genners with broken fogs, like regular everyday drivers. this leads me to believe it's more cheap glass. i also predicted this to DaveB, who said i was wrong. a few months ago he brought it back up and agreed with me, more and more people come in for the fogs, and they're not aftermarket bulbs. cheap glass.

I just wonder how the 55w Narva Golds will look. Probably not as bright or yellow as the 85w right? I would only switch if they looked alot better than my Crystal Ions...

Wow they look really nice. Almost Lexus like.

I'm going to buy a set since I have Hella fogs which are much better than the 2k2 oem's I had. I barely drive on the highway and I cracked the oem fogs with stock bulbs within 1/2 year.

How's the housing so far? Any signs of the housing getting too hot?

For 250-300 i think, there is a company that will mold the lexus fog lens onto your foglight housing, using HID as well. My friend knows the name of the place. They are the ones that make replacements for lexus. what they do is take your Fog light housing, and make another one with the yellow lens on it, then hooking up HID giving you the Lexus lighting...ill get the place as soon as i talk to my friend
