Suspension: Coilover question

I have a 2002 SE. Is there a difference between a 1999 maxima coilover setup and a 2002 maxima coilover setup? On cattman performance, i see that they adjusted the KYB AGX from a 99 maxima to fit a 2000+ maxima. i wanted to get Tein Basic coilovers put into my maxima, is it possible to do the same? Or not? will it even fit without adjustments?

There is no AGX for 5th Gen. You can get Tein Coilovers for your car. Seems like JICs are more popular though.

O, but there is a AGX out there for the 5th gen. go to the cattman racing website where they adjusted the shocks to be able to fit the 2000+ maxima.

I thought you were looking for direct bolt on struts. If you are up for modifiying your upper strut mounts, then I guess you can go w/ these AGX. If you want the freedom of adjusting ride height along w/ adjustable struts, you might want to consider JIC or Tein coilovers.

I am going to go with coilovers now, but my question is, do the Tein Basic coilovers fit the 2002 maxima? a shop around here says that Tein did not make a basic for the 2002 maxima, but the coilovers meant for G35 fit into the 2002 maxima, is that true? I know Tein made the SS coilovers for the 2002 maxima, but i want to know about the Tein Basics. Do we have same suspension as G35?

Only Tein Coilover available for 5th gen is SS. Coilover for G35 will not fit into a Maxima. Tein Flex Coilover will fit both 350Z & G35.
