Cleaning Injen Filter

Pardon me, I figure it's already been asked, but any recommendations on cleaning/re-oiling the conical filter that comes with the Injen CAI? I can't seem to find any info on it here or at Injen's site. Thanks.

if you have a couple of bucks laying around then i would suggest picking up a new filter. you could contact cobymoby and get a genuine k&n ru-2820 for around 30 bucks. it will be larger and is not a k&n style filter like the injen. if you want to clean it, just buy k&n rechrage kit and follow their instructions.

Fella I work with has the K & N cleaning kit, so I'll use it to clean out the Injen filter. If that doesn't work out, there's always the ru-2820. Thanks.

The K&N kit is compatible with your Injen filter. Or go here for a RU-2820, cheapest place on the net.

Yes, that is what they used to use until they switched over to the crappy foam filters.

I was hoping to hear that I could use the K & N kit on an Injen filter. Oh, and thanks for the link to Berk, cobymoby.
