Just ordered a Stillen RSB for my 2k1 GXE before noticing previous threads on ABS line issues with Stillen's brackets. Has Stillen made accomodations for this? How did others get around this issue on the 2k1? Thanks.

I don't know if Stillen has addressed this problem. When I installed my RSB, I left the brackets off. When I talked to my local Nissan parts guy, he said one guy removed the bracket and zip tied the line and another guy zip tied the bracket and line together after removing it. I asked him about him about 2000 brackets since they seemed to fit nicely under the RSB and he said the bracket and line were sold together for $300!

don't worry. i just put on my stillen rsb this week.
stillen gave us two metal extension pieces for the ABS lines so the brackets will not pinch the ABS lines...

I put a Stillen RSB on a 2k1 this past weekend. The back RSB braces would not fit properly with the ABS brackets. The ABS line is supported at three points on this bracket. I ended up sawing the center attachment point off of the ABS bracket and with a little touchup paint... After that, everything attached just fine. (Ok, I did need to bend the left brake line support to keep the brake line from rubbing on one of the RSB attachment bolts.)

BTW, anyone had any problems with your friendly garage putting a car lift on the bar?

I'm glad you reminded me about the car lift. I'm taking my car to Nissan tomorrow for some work and I'll gently remind them to avoid the RSB.
