Permanent Water Spots on Windows

After getting my windows tinted I see that my windows are covered in Hard Water Spots (And yes they are on the outised - I had 3 different people confirm it's not on the inside). They are all over the windows!
I've tried everything:
- Stoner Glass Cleaner
- Magic Clay Bar
- Windex w/ Vinegar
- Undiluted Vinegar
- Bug & Tar Remover
- Lime Away
- Polishing Comound
- 3M Rubbing Compund
- Skrape them w/ a Razor Blade
- HCL (Hydrochloric Acid)

Any suggestions?

Rain X. Post this in the detailing forum btw. Many people obsessed with detailing should know what to do.

if it makes you feel any better, my passenger rear window you can still see the writing from the dealer window sticker (the one with all the cars specs when its new) like its "burned" into the glass....tried everything and it won't come out. You can only see it in certain angles of light though!

try getting one of those metal scratch pads. It's really abrasive.

Like Brillo? Today we tried a razor blade & that didn't work.

Most auto detailers & paint n body shop's use steal wool to clean of over spray and such. I've used it several times & my glass always looks super clean. You can use an SOS pad, but I would recommend getting just plain ol steel wool without any kind of cleaning detergent embedded in it. If worst comes to worst go with the SOS pad, just try to keep the cleaner in the pad from getting all over your paint. You might just want to have a bucket & a towel handy. But if it's water spots like you say then the steal wool will deffinitly remove it from the glass...
