What's with my car?

As some of you know, my car wouldn't start so I got it towed to the dealer. They first thought it was the keys and programming to the computer. So they had me bring in my spare.

I called them today and the service lady said "he's still working on it" apparently the tech. hasn't run or can't run the diagnostic because my car doesn't recognize my keys.

It's been there since Saturday. They have had more than a day to work on it and they haven't even finished the diagnostic. What's going on?

No they didn't, should I go back and request one? I could definitely use one now that I've been without a car for so long.

Sorry to hear that man, thats crap. I hate dealers. Good luck getting them to hook you up with a loaner! Call the stealership and request a status of your car. When they tell you they don't know, ask for a loaner. If they refuse, call Nissan North America and file a complaint. You would think that having your own car not recognizing the programed key would entitle you to a loaner if the stealer insists on screwing with it for days on end!

I called the dealer today. The service manager told me that they are still working on it and it "doesn't look good" I asked her to check the TSB, she didn't know if he (the tech.) had done that yet. She also told me they don't have loaners, they have to go through Enterprise to get one. I emailed Nissan USA, hopefully I get back from them.

Again: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE A DEALER TO DIAGNOSE A PROBLEM AND REGISTER THE KEYS!?
