GAB - Pix and HP increase?

After hearing asbout GAB's for so long, I'm wondering what people's GAB looks like, and what HP gains they've achieved.

here is one i did using a hanger. Cheap and effective. This way you do not ruin your actual air filter holder.

pretty good free mod. i tried the example posted by Fezzik, very easy, reversible, seems to provide the best improvement in air flow while being otherwise stock.

it noticeably increases the sound of the intake under hard accelleration. that's the only time you can hear the difference. as far as performance the car seems to pull a little better under all conditions but don't expect a huge difference. haven't had a long enough evaluation period to guage any effect on gas mileage....but i'll definitely need to keep the (growling intake induced) lead foot effect into consideration.

I am going ot be dynoing my TS ECU on sunday with a group of other people. I took out my coathanger GAB to get a better idea of what the CEU is giving me. I plan on going first that way when I am done I can put the GAB back on, reset the ECU, drive it a bit then dyno again to see if the GAB gives decent gains. I might not be giving it enough time to thoroughly learn it but we should see something.

well if this helps any:
I ran with my GAB at the drags, hooked up to piping that brought in cold air (kinda like the ram air thing they've been discussing). I trapped an average 94.5 mph.

I then tried 2 runs with the air filter removed (and the piping so that nothing got sucked up thru the piping) and my traps were identical, which shows equal power production.
That leads me to believe that the GAB/OSCAI works just as well as having no restrictions at all in the airbox. Since putting an air filter in creates more restictions than no air filter, the GAB/OSCAI reduces those negative affects
