interior light doesnt come on when doors unlocked

interior light doesnt come on when doors unlocked

the light works fine if i use th button to turn it on. I didn't see anything in the manual about being able to set the behavior andbody know if there is a way to enable disable this feature.

I think the switch should be in the middle. Standard on pretty much all cars.

i have the sun roof so there is no switch just 1 button for the light nobody else has had this problem ?

Mine is the other way, button doesn't light the bulb, only opening the doors. All this with the button in the middle.

that makes sense if the switch is broken, the switch works fine as does the light it just doesnt come on when i open / unlock the door

which light are you talking about, the i30s have 2 the one by the sunglass holder and the one in the middle behind the sun roof. the one up front isent suposed to turn omn with the door. but the switch to the one in the middle is suposed to be in the middle for on with door open and remote unlock.
