Question on FSTB

I will be installing a stillen FSTB over the weekend...had a question...the manual says to change the length of the bar by rotating the bar...now should I rotate so that the brackets go further apart or come closer?
Thanks

When I put mine in we had to rotate it where they moved farther apart because it was too short out of the box to fit on both struts. You can size it up once you get it out of the box and match it up.

you want it to be as far apart as will go and still fit.
this will insure that it clears all engine components
