I don't mind the name calling really. Its an understandable title because at this time, I believe, I only have a dozen posts to my name on these boards.
However, in my defense, that doesn't decidedly make me a newbie.
I have been involved in the automotive world for around 18 years.
I have owned Nissans for the past 6. This Maxima is my families second.
Our first is a previous generation SE which was broken into (and they attempted to steal the whole car, and not the headlights. [they removed the sunroof and wiggled in]) around a month ago. Otherwise my exposure to Nissans is through the sentras which I have somewhat extensive experience with (mainly in the B14, which was/is the families first nissan although for a year I dabbled in B13's and B15's with clubs and the previous generation altima which I borrowed from time to time when my car was unavailable).
I've been watching these boards for a few years mostly because my other nissan boards made reference. In the past month or so I've been reading extensively due to the purchase, and finally last week joined.
That says nothing about life experience and whatnot, but it was just a harmless name calling and this isn't a contest where we compare resume's, so its all good.
