Filter choice

Guys: question
Don't want to do to much changes to my car, a 2000 GLE with 65k but want to change the stock air filter.
Will I see real changes in performance with the Berk setup?
What is really the difference between the Berk with K&N and the Berk with the Apexi filter besides the cost?
How do you clean the Apexi filter?

Sorry about all the questions, but if someone can shed some light on the subject, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks,
Alex

Ive heard that you dont get much from an intake until you pair it up with some other mods, like exhaust.

Again this is just what I have heard.

You will feel a performance gain and the dyno will prove it if you choose to dyno the car. The Apexi filter will flow slightly better than the K&N and filter better but the cost is higher.

The Apexi filters are not reusable. After 30K miles they need to be replaced with a new one.
