What is wrong with my car?
I have a 2000 se automatic w/ a warpspeed y pipe, berk intake, and custom exhaust. My best time was 16.2 at 83 mph with a reaction time of .116. My SES light has been on and I think that it is either a bad o2 sensor or a bad coil. Could this have slowed my car down that much?
Thanks
Chris

First off that reaction time is a redlight on the christmas tree.
2ndly, cant speculate on what the SES is, must have it pulled then we can help. If its an O2 or bad coil, it will hinder performance greatly. But then again if its an O2, at WOT it dont make a difference anyways. Get the code pulled.

Dont go on the times, there can be other reasons you had bad times, bad 60', bad shifting. That aint by any means a way of saying your car has issues.
Lets work on the SES light and what the car is telling you before this thread turns into a post war on whats times are good and bad.

I have a automatic but i did manually shift it. I more than likely did not hit the correct shift points(first time at the tracks). I'll get the code pulled and post it hopefully this afternoon because this is really bothering me. Thanks for the help bigdog
